Welcome to Holiday Treat Week 2015 - an abbreviated version. This honey butter is lovely on warm scones, biscuits or toast. It will be tucked in with some baked goods for some of our neighbours this year.
Spiced Honey Butter
1 cup (two sticks) salted butter - room temperature
1 cup icing sugar
1 cup honey
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cardamom
1/4 teaspoon cloves
Cream butter and mix in icing sugar slowly then add honey and spics until well mixed.
Fill jars. This recipe makes five 125 ml jars. Store in fridge for up to four months. Serve at room temperature for spreadability.
