The smoke from the wildfires really created an eeriness here at the beginning of July - yellow skies in the morning, the sun shining through the smoke, feeling like we were liking in the midst of a campground.
The boys and I joined my sisters and all the cousins up in Kelowna for our annual cousins' trip. Lots of time in the lake, in the pool, eating ice cream and enjoying each other. The boys loved wake boarding and tubing again and this year also tried parasailing for the first time. There was also lots of dock jumping, hot tubbing and poker playing at night.
