Colin was fencing in the Canada Day parade so we were up early to drop him off at Garry Point Park for the start. We walked alongside the fencing club down the parade route. It was fun to listen to people exclaim, "Hey, they're really fencing, with real swords!"
We enjoyed a yummy lunch at the Salmon Festival along with some Canadian macarons (maple ganache filling).
The boys and I took the Canada Line downtown to watch the fireworks at Canada Place. Wow to the crowds! We didn't realize how deep we were in until we tried to leave. Amazing fireworks.
