On Monday, I was able to leave work for half an hour to attend Colin's last ever band concert. He's not taking band in high school so this was it for him. He played electric guitar last year in band and this year he's played the trumpet.
Each class was just playing one song and Colin had hoped his class would be playing 21 Guns but they drew the short straw apparently and played the much more challenging piece, Mission Impossible.
I am so glad I was there for yet another "last"!
Mission Impossible is quite a challenging piece for a Grade 7 class, but it sounds like they pulled it off. Hope you get to witness more “lasts”.
