Friday night: Hockey night at the Richmond Ice Centre
Adam's team comes from behind (3-0) to take a 4-3 win over their closest rivals. Huge win for the team!
Saturday: Sportsapalooza in Burnaby
Colin and Adam's team actually played at exactly the same time out in Burnaby with walking distance between the arena and the soccer field. Neil and I went back and forth.
Colin's team was in the cup final for their division. They played so hard but ended up losing 4-3. They team bounced back and all went out for lunch together. This team has had such a great season. Colin mentioned how much he will miss soccer but he thinks his body is glad the season over as he is feeling the effects of a long, physical season. A huge thanks to the volunteer coaches who put so much time and heart into what they do!
Adam's team was down three players and really needed this win. I was at the rink to see the first goal of the game which was an amazing shot by #13! I love how supportive the boys are of each other. The team won 3-0.
And Sunday was a day of rest. The boys stayed in their pyjamas all day. Colin had his guitar lesson and helped me get some baking done for the week ahead and we made some more meyer lemon curd to refill the jar in the fridge.
Yes, Colin got his hair cut short on Saturday. His choice. We're all getting used to it.
The boys have at least one day, up to three days at home this week due to teacher job action. I've got lists of "jobs" for them to do at home lined up and a little homeschooling fun is planned as well ;)
