lava bed tidal pools

At our resort, our "beach" is comprised of lava bed tidal pools. We've really enjoyed walking around on the rocks, jumping over water, noticing all sorts of coral and living things in the pools.

There's a ton of life in these tidal pools and we have seen all sorts of interesting urchins, crabs and fish as well as a few resident green sea turtles.
