Wednesday morning after breakfast, we walked down the road and rented surfboards and crossed the street to the surf beach. The boys spent a lot of time waiting for waves.
The boys got and caught some waves but the highlight was paddling out to see a group of dolphins and playing just at the edge of the bay. A local surfer pointed them out to Colin and told him that we were really lucky to see them as they often don't come to this area. We watched them for quite awhile. I tried to take a few photos but basically got ocean and just the tops of the dolphins. Seeing the dolphins like this was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
After some lunch and resting, we went back and rented some boogie boards and went back to the Magic Sands beach. The waves were really big today and the boys had a great time. We spent a lot of time looking for Colin as he disappeared into the huge surf.
Another fun day in the water.
