This is my first month participating in the Take 12 project. I took 12 photos on the twelfth day of the month. This month's prompt was "taking inventory of your everyday life" and the suggestions were to take photos of things such as contents of a shopping bag or purse, the inside of a pantry, a family portrait, the junk drawer, etc.
I've decided that for each month on the 12th, I'm going to take a photo of our house and the garden to see how they change over the year and a photo of the boys together. Other than that, I will be inspired by the prompts and what's going on in our lives at the time.
Here are the 12 photos from today:
Today was a day at home for me, waiting for Shaw to come an install a new modem and change our phone line, picking up passports, picking up forgotten textbooks at school, driving Colin to a soccer movie night, picking up sushi for Adam and I, trying out the kitchen torch Glenn gave me for Christmas and getting ready to head out for a hockey tournament. The boys doing their usual things like playing xbox and doing homework. Nothing earth shattering for sure! Just a regular day at home for me, trying to squeeze in some writing inbetween the "stuff" that somehow fills up the day!

You look like you were making some kind of yumminess with that torch! :) I love the idea of photographing the same couple of things each month to see how they change and then fill out the 12 with other things that inspire you! Thanks for playing along with Ella's Take 12 project!

Great Job! I had to laugh, I decided the same thing about taking a picture of my house, & it's even in the same place on my page as yours, so I guess that means great minds think alike right?

This collection turned out great! Wonderful idea to take a pic of the house each month! Maybe I'll do that with the pic of feeding time in the kitchen to show how my dogs and husband change during the next year!
