On Saturday, Colin spent most of the day at a birthday party...it was his first girl/boy party in many years and he was a little worried how it was all going to go down. In the end, he had a lot of fun. They went over to a park and played a bunch of games and the mom had custom t-shirts made for everyone (Colin's wearing his in this photo). When I arrived to pick him up, he was on roof of the family's tree fort with the birthday girl with his shirt off and otherwise, soaking wet ;)
Adam got a call early Saturday afternoon to see if he wanted to play in the Jimmy Ng Memorial ball hockey tournament...he said yes, so we headed into Steveston for a 4:00 game. The team Adam played on won 1-0 which meant a semi-final game on Sunday afternoon.
On Sunday, Adam had a regular ball hockey game, Colin had his guitar lesson and Colin and I went to Minoru to watch Duncan run 200 metres in the provincial track and field meet. Duncan won his heat and ran his personal best.
We were back at the Steveston lacrosse box Sunday afternoon for more hockey! Colin found a tree to climb and Adam scored the game winning goal (4-3) in the semi-final of the Jimmy Ng ball hockey tournament which was an exiting game to watch.
Such great weather this weekend for all the boys' outdoor activities!
